Consultation: Proposed Ministerial Advisory Body for the Arts
artsACT is undertaking consultation on the potential for forming a new Ministerial Advisory body for the arts.
The consultation process will consider issues such as: the purpose of an advisory body; what it would advise on; how the government will ensure that advice is received in relation to the full spectrum of art forms, practice and experience in the ACT; and how an advisory body will best serve the arts community and the government.
You can get involved by filling out the online survey and expressing your interest to attend one of the roundtable discussions.
The online survey is available via SurveyMonkey and will close on Friday 28 July 2017.
Expressions of interest to attend a roundtable will close on Wednesday 28 June 2017.
Roundtables will be held throughout July. Attendees of the roundtables will be selected by the Minister for the Arts and Community Events to ensure the full diversity of the arts community.
What will happen next?
Following the consultation, the Minister for the Arts and Community Events will consider options on the most appropriate mechanism.
