Dreaming of Remembering

When: 6pm Wednesday, 13 September until Sunday, 1 October 2017.
Where: ANCA Gallery

ANCA Gallery presents Dreaming of Remembering curated by Grace Blakeley-Carroll.

Dreaming of Remembering is an exhibition that invites viewers to reflect on the meaning of imagination, memory, tradition and nostalgia. It features Canberra-based artists Tiffany Cole, Daniel Edwards, Lia Tajcnar and Naomi Zouwer. Through their diverse practices, these artists explore the nexus between the past and the present, dream and reality, and memory and nostalgia. Incorporating painting, textiles and ceramics, Dreaming of Remembering encourages the willing suspension of one’s disbelief.

Opened by Dr Andrew Montana from the Centre for Art History and Art Theory at the ANU School of Art and Design.
