Funding more live music capacity building

$108,000 has been allocated to strengthen Canberra's live music scene

The ACT Government has demonstrated its commitment to strengthening the live music sector in the ACT by investing $108,000 to support live music in. Canberra.
MusicACT has been funded to harness its specialist knowledge and expertise in the live music sector to support capacity building programs including in in artist management, recording, touring, and promoting. This funding will also facilitate the creation of more opportunities for Canberra all-ages shows.

MusicACT will utliise its extensive networks, including the National Live Music Office, The Australasian Performing Right Association, national live music promoters, managers and record assist the careers of Canberra musicians.

MusicACT will soon provide information on these activities, and on how Canberra musicians can become involved.
