A collaborative exhibition showcasing the art work of Nancy Tingey inspired by the poetry of artist in residence Jane Liddell-King

This body of work ‘Juxtapositions’ responds to Jane’s poems. There will be a Meet-the-Artists session at Strathnairn to celebrate Jane’s arrival in Canberra on Saturday 4 March at 4pm. A fully illustrated catalogue recording this exhibition and collaboration will be launched at this event.
During her residency at Strathnairn, Jane will conduct workshops and read her poetry at various venues, including Poetry at The House on 14 March, the Council of Christians and Jews on 13 March, Smiths Alternative on 12 March, and the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) on 9 March. Over the weekend of 10-11 March Jane will run workshops in the Village Hall, Strathnairn Arts, to which artists of various disciplines, including performance artists, dancers, musicians and writers are invited to attend.
