A preview of new work by trailblazing stencil artist Luke Cornish (ELK)
When: 2 March to 29 April 2018
Where: Tuggeranong Arts Centre
Luke Cornish’s current practice is focussed on the war ravaged streets of Syria, and the individuals caught in the conflict. More specifically, Cornish aims to put a human face to the effects of war, and to portray the hope and positivity which he encountered there.
Works are a mixture of stencil, aerosol and sublimation on aluminium or canvas. Sublimation printing is a process of heating dye and transferring onto a medium such as paper or plastic.
This exhibition is presented alongside Another Day in Paradise. More information is available on the TAC website.
