The Street is Canberra’s theatre of new work having been the major investor in new theatre, music work and artists in Canberra over the last decade. The Street uplifts performing arts workers in the ACT for engagement in Australia and beyond. The Street is a creative generator of new work and regenerator of place and community. A cultural meeting place, it offers artists, community, audiences, and visitors the opportunity to be part of a calendar of events, performances and other creative programs. The Street fosters local creative industries and the future of Canberra’s creative community.
