Tuggeranong Arts Centre


The Tuggeranong Arts Centre was purpose-built in 1998 and is located in the Tuggeranong Town Centre, fronting Lake Tuggeranong. It has a range of spaces for hire – including 2 dance studios, 3 gallery spaces, art workshop, and a 100 seat theatre.

Tuggeranong Arts Centre delivers a strong artistic program, focusing on participation and accessibility. It offers exhibitions across three gallery spaces, a live performance program, community engagement activities and a range of workshops and classes. A diverse program of activities covers several artforms including dance, visual arts, theatre and music and places Tuggeranong Art Centre at the heart of the Tuggeranong community engaging professional and community artists alike.

Open 6 days a week, Tuggeranong Arts Centre is a creative hub and gathering place in South Canberra which connects people, creates new experiences and celebrates the arts. View the gallery to see the spaces available for hire.

Tuggeranong Arts Centre is an ACT Government facility managed by the Tuggeranong Community Arts Association Inc, which delivers community arts and cultural development programs in Tuggeranong and Woden.

Visitor Access

Parking is available on Reed Street. Disability parking and a drop off and pick up point is located directly in front of the centre. The Centre is fitted with a lift to access the gallery and there are accessible toilets located on both floors.
