THE GODDESS OF WATER

Chalchiuhtlicue is inspired by the pre-Hispanic stone sculpture of the same name, found at the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, Mexico.

Launched on 20 November 2012 by Katy Gallagher MLA Chief Minister of the ACT and Beatriz Lopez Gargallo Ambassador of Mexico.

The sculpture was donated by Mission Foods subsidiary of Gruma Corp and with the contribution of the Government of Mexico.
