ACT Public Art Program
The ACT is home to a diverse collection of public artwork that has been commissioned by the ACT Government and Australian Governments, as well as the private and community sectors. The ACT Government's Public Art Program was established in 1995 to commission art works to complement Canberra’s urban design and provide new experiences of the everyday environment. The Program undertakes a range of activities including planning, commissioning new works, maintenance and education.
