Microscopia is a large scale artwork commissioned by the ACT Government for display in the Australian Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and for permanent installation in the new Women's and Children's Hospital at the Canberra Hospital.

From May to October 2010 at the Shanghai World Expo, Microscopia formed an impressive backdrop for over 200 business events which were held in the Australian Pavilion. The artwork was made at the Canberra Glassworks, and showcased the expertise and undisputed quality of it’s production skills on the world stage.

Microscopia is wall mounted and measures 6 metres long by 3 metres high. It is made up of 18 1 x 1 metre panels of glass, each individually shaped and formed. The glass panels are framed and form a textured surface for the artist’s light painting to show through.
