Belconnen Arts Centre opened in 2009 with the objective of being the centre of arts and cultural activity in Belconnen. The Centre is operated by a small team of staff supported by a number of volunteers who together present a broad program of events to engage the community, in Belconnen and beyond. The Centre hosts a program of outstanding events including exhibitions, creative workshops, dance, concert, markets and festivals. Belconnen Arts Centre was the winner of an ACT Chief Minister's Inclusion Award in 2010, 2012 and 2013 and strives to offer an environment that is accessible and engaging to all.
