This sculpture signifies the outstanding contribution Laurie Daley has made to Rugby League.
Laurie Daley was born on 20 October 1969 in Junee, NSW.
Between 1987 and 2000, Laurie played 244 first grade games for the Canberra Raiders (81 as Captain); 26 games for NSW (13 as Captain); and 34 games for Australia (7 as Captain).

Launched on 9 August 2001 by Mr Laurie Daley and Chief Minister, Mr Gary Humphries, MLA.

This sculpture was made possible with support from the ACT Government, The Canberra Raiders and ActewAGL.
